Clinical Social Worker | Specialist in Authenticity, Relationships, and Lifespan Wellness

Katrina is a fully licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMSW) dedicated to helping individuals break free from the exhausting cycle of “not good enough-itis.” With years of clinical experience, she has seen firsthand how the pressure to be perfect—or to constantly mold oneself to the expectations of others—leads to burnout, anxiety, and a profound loss of self. Her practice is a sanctuary for those ready to stop performing and start living authentically.

Clinical Philosophy: Reclaiming Your Identity

Do you feel like you are constantly running on a treadmill of perfectionism, only to feel more depleted at every turn? Katrina specializes in treating the root causes of chronic inadequacy. She believes that mental wellness begins the moment we stop trying to fit into everyone else’s boxes and begin remembering who we truly are.

Through a compassionate and direct therapeutic approach, she helps clients:

  • Identify the “Shoulds”: Dismantling the internal and external pressures that dictate how you “should” act, look, or feel.
  • Build Core Resilience: Developing a sense of self-worth that isn’t tied to achievement or external validation.
  • Establish Boundaries: Learning to say “no” to the expectations that drain you so you can say “yes” to your own well-being.

A Lifespan Approach to Healing

Katrina offers a unique, multi-generational perspective, providing expert care for clients at every stage of life:

  • Children & Adolescents: Helping young people navigate the intense social pressures of modern life while building a foundation of self-esteem and emotional regulation.
  • Couples Therapy: Working with partners to improve communication, break cycles of resentment, and foster a relationship where both individuals feel seen and “good enough” as they are.
  • Geriatric Support: Addressing the unique transitions of aging, including grief, loss of independence, and finding continued purpose and joy in the later chapters of life.

The Path Forward

Whether you are a parent worried about your child’s anxiety, a couple struggling to reconnect, or a senior navigating a major life transition, [Your Name] provides the steady, professional guidance needed to find your way back to yourself.

“When a flashlight grows dim or quits working, do you just throw it away? Of course not. You change the batteries. When a person messes up or finds themselves in a dark place, do you cast them aside? Of course not! You help them change their batteries. Some need AA…attention and affection; some need AAA…attention, affection, and acceptance; some need C….compassion; some need D…direction. And if they still don’t seem to shine…simply sit with them quietly and share your light.” – Rachel Dansby Freeman

“I look forward to being a part of your journey!”

Therapeutic Philosophy: Listening as a Catalyst for Change

Keith is well-versed in Person-Centered Approaches, Positive Psychology, and Motivational Interviewing. He eschews the habit of offering unsolicited advice, choosing instead to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where the client is the lead architect of their own healing.

“I believe that the answers to what troubles you are already inside you. My role is to listen first—to understand your unique needs and assess your situation in a safe environment. Together, we will seek the answers to your truth. You are not alone; I am here, and I am listening.” – Keith

A Relatable Human Connection

Whether he is working with a fellow Veteran navigating the “demons” of service or a young person struggling to find their voice, Keith draws from a vast well of life experience to relate on a deeply human level. He provides more than just clinical support; he provides a steady, disciplined, and empathetic partnership for anyone ready to rewrite their story.

“When I ask you to listen to me and you start giving advice, you have not done what I ask. When I ask you to listen to me and you begin to tell me why I should not feel that way, you are trampling on my feelings.”

Ryan Cummins

MA, LLC

Ryan graduated from Siena Heights University with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is a Limited Licensed Counselor (LLC).

Ryan enjoys working with teens and adults

who are experiencing a variety of concerns such as: trauma, depression, anxiety, anger, self-esteem, post-traumatic stress, grief and loss, and relationship problems. You can expect to be met with empathy, support, and respect.

Being a former coach, Ryan has developed the fundamental skills for commitment, compassion, adaptability and change and applies them as part of his support philosophy. I consider my approach to be very flexible. This helps me to work with a wide variety of clients and presenting symptoms. Anxiety and sadness cause real pain that medication alone cannot fix. It is hard to live when you are struggling with the past and fearing the future. We aren’t meant to do this alone.

Rodney Skinner

Rodney Skinner

MA, LPC

My name is Rodney Skinner, and I am married and have raised 5 kids. My hobbies are spending time with my wife, being involved with my kids, camping, hunting, watching old westerns, and being involved with my church. I am a counselor because I love being a part of helping someone increase their fulfillment in life. I can relate with people who have had “dark” times, self-blame, times of depression, anxiety, questions about parenting, and other stressors life can bring. I would love to have the opportunity to be an important and helpful part of your life.

I try to see what you see, through your eyes.  I genuinely care about what you want, not what society or others expect of you. I help you find the strengths you have and help you build a solid foundation for the rest of what life brings. I have often been told “it’s obvious you really care”. I have experience working with kids and adolescents with ADHD, oppositional/defiant behaviors, poor self-esteem, grief and loss, sexual and physical abuse, depression, anxiety, and social anxiety disorders. I also have extensive experience with marital counseling, parenting skills, family difficulties, divorce recovery, domestic violence situations, blended families, obsessive/compulsive behaviors, and chronic illness. I use an eclectic approach to counseling, utilizing evidence based treatments that pertain to the individuals needs. Sometimes past situations need to be explored and effectively dealt with to heal, forgive, understand, and implement new thoughts and skills for positive change.
